Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to services provided by Web Solutions CA (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), a service-based web development and digital marketing agency operating in the United States, including California.

We do not sell products or accept payments directly through our website. All services are provided pursuant to written proposals, service agreements, invoices, or contracts issued separately.

1. General Policy (No Retail Sales)

Because our services are custom, professional, and labor-based, all fees are generally non-refundable once work has begun, unless otherwise stated in a written agreement signed by both parties.

2. Web Design & Development Services

  • Deposits / Initial Payments

Any deposit or initial payment made to begin a project is non-refundable once project work has started. This includes discovery, planning, design, development, configuration, or resource allocation.

  • Project Cancellation by Client

If the client cancels a project after work has begun:

  • The client is responsible for payment of all work completed up to the cancellation date.
  • Any prepaid amounts for work not yet performed may be refunded at our sole discretion.
  • Completed or Approved Work

Once deliverables have been completed, presented, or approved, no refunds will be issued.

Refunds will not be provided for delays or project issues caused by the client, including but not limited to failure to provide content, approvals, access, or timely communication.

3. SEO & Digital Marketing Services

  • No Guarantee of Results

Due to the nature of search engines, algorithms, competition, and market conditions, specific results (rankings, traffic, leads, or revenue) are not guaranteed.

  • Non-Refundable Services

All SEO, digital marketing, consulting, audits, and strategy services are non-refundable once initiated, including monthly or recurring service periods.

  • Cancellation of Ongoing Services

Clients may terminate ongoing services by providing written notice in accordance with their service agreement.

Termination applies to future billing periods only. Fees already paid for current or past service periods are non-refundable.

4. Third-Party Fees & Expenses

Any costs paid to third parties, including but not limited to:

  • Domain registrations
  • Hosting services
  • Software licenses
  • Plugins or themes
  • Advertising spend (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.)

are non-refundable and are outside our control.

5. California Consumer Notice

Under California law, services that are custom, professional, and initiated at the client’s request are generally not subject to automatic refunds once work has commenced. This policy complies with applicable California consumer protection regulations for service-based businesses.

6. Disputes & Chargebacks

Clients agree to contact us directly to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in immediate service suspension and termination of the business relationship.

7. Policy Acknowledgment

Engaging our services, signing a proposal or agreement, or submitting payment constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of this Refund Policy.
